    • Corrosion Protection: To prevent galvanic corrosion, connections between dissimilar metals (like copper wire and aluminum lugs) should be protected using conductive anti-seize or antioxidant compound.
    • Continuity Testing: Always use a multimeter to test for low resistance (<1 ohm) across the entire system after installation, ensuring all panels and rails are properly bonded.
    • Grounding Electrode Conductor: A continuous, un-spliced copper conductor is generally preferred to connect the array to the grounding electrode. 
    Safety and Regulations 
    • Compliance: Systems must be designed and installed in accordance with regulations such as AS5003 or UL467 to ensure safety and prevent electrical fires.
