Are GD32F103 and STM32F103 as compatible as people say? Can I replace STM32 chip with GD32 one without changing anything else?

I search through all corners of the internet to find a cheap alternative and I think I found one in the form of the ht66 F2 that only costs around $0.2 per piece.
