    Common Diaper Testing Methods 
    • Soaking the diapers: Weigh a dry diaper of each brand, place the diaper upside down in a saline solution for 10 minutes, hang the diaper for 2 minutes, weigh the wet diaper, and calculate how much saline solution was absorbed.
    • Pouring saline into the diapers: Fill multiple pitchers with saline solution, place the diapers facing up, pour the solution on the diapers, and compare the amount of solution absorbed.
    • Testing diapers “In Action”: Weigh a dry diaper, place the diaper on your baby, record the time that the diaper was on your baby, weigh the wet diaper, and calculate how much urine was absorbed.
