    • Clamping Unit: Holds the mold halves together under immense pressure (e.g., 250-3000 tons).
    • Injection Unit: Forces metal into the die.
    • Automation: Robots for extraction, auto ladles for metal delivery, auto sprayers for mold lubrication.
    • Control Systems: PLC controllers for precise, repeatable cycles and monitoring. 
    Types for Aluminum 
    • Cold Chamber Die Casting: Most common for aluminum; molten metal is ladled into a separate shot sleeve for injection, preventing contact with the furnace air.
    • Gravity Die Casting: Uses gravity to fill the mold, suitable for different shapes and volumes. 
    Advantages 
    • Produces parts with thin walls, high strength, and excellent dimensional accuracy.
    • Excellent surface finish, often requiring minimal secondary work.
    • High-speed production for cost-effective, large-volume runs.
