    Key Components & Features 
    • Metering Units: High-pressure, modular systems that precisely mix liquid DCPD monomer with a catalyst.
    • Mixhead: Where the resin and catalyst are combined at high velocity and pressure (1,500-3,000 psi) before injection.
    • Mold Frames: Hydraulic presses that hold molds, often made of aluminum for lower cost and fast cycles, designed for large parts.
    • PLC Control: Programmable Logic Controllers manage the process for safety, monitoring, and repeatable production. 
    How it Works (DCPD-RIM Process) 
    1. Injection: The liquid DCPD resin and catalyst are mixed in the mixhead and injected under high pressure into a closed mold.
    2. Polymerization (Curing): The materials react (Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization - ROMP) inside the mold, forming a solid polymer rapidly (often under 90 seconds).
    3. Demolding: The part, a solid polymer, is removed from the mold.
