    How it works

    • The gas permeates through the specimen from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side.
    • The instrument measures the pressure changes in the lower chamber to determine the gas permeability and other properties like gas transmission rate, solubility coefficient, and diffusion coefficient.

    • Method: Most commonly uses the differential pressure method. Other methods, such as the coulometric sensor method, are also used.
