    • Controlled range of motion: Hinges are set by a doctor to a specific range of motion for flexion and extension, which helps prevent hyperextension and allows the knee to heal safely.
    • Adjustable length: The telescoping frame allows the brace to be adjusted to fit different leg lengths, ensuring a proper and stable fit.
    • Stabilization: The rigid frame and hinge system stabilize the knee joint to support the ligaments and protect against movement.
    • Adjustable straps: Straps are used to secure the brace, with a system to remove slack for a snug fit. 
    Application and fitting 
    • Professional fitting: The initial application and hinge settings must be performed by a medical professional.
    • Alignment: The hinge should be centered with the knee's midline (patella), and the brace should be applied with the larger pad towards the thigh and the smaller pad towards the ankle.
    • Secure straps: After initial application, straps should be adjusted to remove slack and then secured with the buckles. Velcro is used to hold the excess strap length.
    • Removing slack: To tighten straps, unclip the plastic tab, pull the strap through, and reapply the tab and Velcro.
    • Removing the brace: To take the brace off, unclip all the buckles.
