    Water-Based Solid Resin vs. Emulsion
    While both are waterborne, they differ in structure: 
    • Solid Resin: Dissolves in alkaline water, often used for its superior clarity, leveling, and wetting properties, though it may have slightly lower water resistance compared to emulsions.
    • Emulsion: Prepared via emulsion polymerization, generally better for coatings requiring high water resistance (e.g., architectural coatings).
