    How it works
    • One-way signal path:
      When a signal enters a specific port (e.g., port 1), it is directed to the next port in a sequence (port 2) with minimal loss. 
    • Isolation and reflection:
      A signal entering port 1 will not go to port 3. Instead, any signal reflected back from port 2 is directed to port 3, not back to the source at port 1. 
    • Magnetic field:
      The device uses a strong magnetic field to alter the phase of the RF signal's electromagnetic waves as they pass through the ferrite material. This creates a Faraday effect that causes the forward-traveling waves to combine constructively at the next port, while reverse-traveling waves are phase-shifted to cancel each other out. 
    • Isolator creation:
      A circulator can become an isolator by terminating one port with a matched load. This absorbs any reflected signals, preventing them from traveling backward and protecting sensitive components.

        It is a circulator with a built-in matched load (like a 50-ohm resistor) on one port. A signal traveling forward passes through with low loss. If the signal reflects, it is directed to the termination port and absorbed, rather than sent back to the source.
