    6. Termination: Metal paste is applied to the ends of the chips, followed by nickel and tin plating, creating solderable lead attachments.
    7. Lead Attachment & Forming: Solderable lead wires are attached, and the components are often dipped in epoxy for insulation and protection, creating the radial leaded form factor.
    8. Testing & Packaging: Capacitors undergo rigorous electrical and physical testing (e.g., capacitance, voltage, temperature) and are then sorted and packaged, often on tape and reel for automated insertion.
