    2. Prime: Open the roller clamp and flow controller to let the fluid fill the tubing, removing all air, then close them.
    3. Connect & Set: Connect to the patient's catheter. Rotate the flow controller to the desired mL/hr rate on the scale.
    4. Verify: Count the drops per minute to ensure the actual flow rate matches the dial setting, as per Brainly and this BD Alaris guide.
