    Process Flow: 
    1. Polluted gas enters the bottom of the scrubber tower.
    2. Scrubbing liquid is sprayed from the top, traveling counter-currently against the gas.
    3. Chemical Absorption occurs in the packed section, neutralizing acidic contaminants.
    4. Cleaned gas passes through a mist eliminator and exits the top.
    5. Spent liquor is collected at the bottom for treatment or recirculation. 
    These towers are crucial for handling fumes from sulphonation reactors that produce surfactants, detergents, and sulfonic acids.
