    Materials Needed:

    • Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) or adhesive remover (Goo Gone, WD-40)
    • Microfiber cloth
    • Plastic razor blade or scraper (optional)
    • Masking/painter's tape (green)
    • Scissors or utility knife

    1. Remove Old Adhesive:
      Use an adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol to soften and scrape off all old residue from the car's paint and the back of the emblem. 
    2. Clean & Prep:
      Wash the area with soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol to ensure it's perfectly clean and dry for best adhesion. 
    3. Mark Position:
      Place painter's tape on the car to mark the exact location where the emblem should sit. 
    4. Apply Tape/Adhesive:
      Cut automotive double-sided foam tape to fit the emblem's shape, or apply emblem adhesive (like 3M Gasket Adhesive) to the back. 
    5. Trim (if using tape):
      Trim any excess tape so it doesn't show from the front of the emblem. 
    6. Apply Promoter (Optional):
      Wipe an adhesive promoter on the car's surface for extra grip, ensuring it's dry before proceeding. 
    7. Mount the Emblem:
      Peel the backing off the tape/adhesive, align carefully with your tape marks, and press firmly for 60 seconds. 
    8. Cure:
      Keep the area dry and avoid washing the car for at least 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully bond.
