    Types of Systems 
    • Manual: Operator applies force using a precision press and grip rings.
    • Semi-Automatic: Features automatic film/wafer clamping, expansion, and sometimes auto-cut functions.
    • Motorized/Automated: Uses servo motors for high precision, repeatability, and throughput, often transferring to new frames without rings.

    How They Work (Common Method) 
    1. A diced wafer on its adhesive tape is placed on a chuck.
    2. A heated chuck warms the tape, increasing its plasticity.
    3. Inner and outer grip rings (or a servo-driven stage) are used to stretch the tape.
    4. This pulls the chips apart to a specified gap, often held by the rings or transferred to a new frame.
