    • Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx): A liquid-cooled heat exchanger is installed on the rear of the server rack, capturing heat from the hot exhaust air.
    • Immersion Cooling: Servers are submerged in a thermally conductive, non-conductive dielectric fluid, allowing for massive heat reduction. 
    Key Components and Features 
    • Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs): These provide temperature and flow rate control for the secondary cooling loop, often using a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger to move heat from the racks to the facility water loop.
    • Leak Detection & Monitoring: Advanced systems include sensors to notify users of potential water leaks within the cooling unit.
    • Titanium Heat Exchangers: Used in high-quality, corrosion-resistant chillers (e.g., Hailea).
    • Variable Speed Fans/Pumps: These optimize power usage by adjusting to the cooling load.

    • Improved Efficiency: Liquid-cooled systems can reduce power costs by up to 40% compared to traditional air cooling.
    • Higher Density: Enables higher rack densities (over 20 kW), which is necessary for AI hardware that can exceed 1,200 watts per GPU.
    • Performance Stability: Prevents thermal throttling in CPUs and GPUs.
    • Sustainability: Allows higher water temperatures, reducing the need for mechanical refrigeration ("free cooling").
