NOTE If the coveralls have elasticated ankle cuffs, you may wish to cut the elastic off to make donning and doffing easier

Perform a fit check For a valved respirator inhale sharply, for a unvalved respirator exhale sharply to test

make sure the apron is not twisted at the neck and shoulders and is securely tied at the back

You can doff your apron and gloves in between patients, perform hand hygiene, then apply a new apron and new gloves before seeing the next patient

grasp the outside of the glove above the cuff and peel off hold the removed glove in the remaining gloved hand

break the ties at the waist and fold the apron in half and then gently roll up as shown

use one shoe covered foot to pull off the coverall from the other leg and repeat for the second leg

In the absence of an anteroom/lobby, remove FFP2/3 respirators in a safe area (e.g., outside the isolation room or patient area)
