    1. Device: An IO-Link signal light (like a tower light or strip light) with RGB LEDs.
    2. Master: An IO-Link Master acts as the translator, connecting the light to the PLC/controller.
    3. Controller (PLC): Sends commands (e.g., "flash red for error") and receives data (e.g., "temperature high").
    4. Cable: A standard 3-wire M12 cable transmits both power and digital data.
