    Key Aspects of AMCA 210 Test Chambers: 
    • Purpose:
      Measures Air Performance (AP) for ratings or certification, determining airflow, pressure (static, velocity, total), and power at various operating points.
    • Measurement Technique: Uses a chamber with a set of calibrated nozzles (a nozzle chamber) to measure airflow, where pressure drop across these nozzles calculates the flow rate.
    • Configurations: Testing can be done in either supply or exhaust configurations. A fan is typically tested at a fixed RPM, adjusting a damper to create static pressure drops, and measuring airflow through the calibrated nozzles.
    • Components: Includes a test chamber (often rectangular), a chamber exhaust/supply fan, flow measuring nozzles, straightening devices, and pressure transducers.
    • Data Generated: The output includes performance curves plotting Pressure vs. Airflow, Efficiency, and Power Consumption.
    • Product Types: Suitable for testing axial fans, centrifugal fans, blower wheels, and other air-moving components. 
    Performance Metrics 
    • Accuracy: High-precision setups (e.g., up to 2% accuracy) can measure flow from 0.1 to 3000 CFM or higher.
    • Capacity: Chambers are designed to handle, for instance, up to 10,000 CFM for high-pressure setups or up to 65,000 CFM for larger volumes.
    • Dimensions: A typical chamber may have a square cross-section (e.g., 2500 x 2500 mm) and significant length (e.g., 12 meters) to accommodate proper airflow. 
    Common applications include HVAC fan testing, industrial exhaust systems, and engine cooling components.
