    Key Solvent Types for Aldehyde Resin
    Aldehyde resins are soluble in the following solvents: 
    • Ketones: Acetone, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), MIBK (Methyl Isobutyl Ketone).
    • Esters: Butyl acetate, Ethyl acetate.
    • Alcohols: Ethanol, Butanol, Isopropanol (solubility can be limited with lower alcohols).
    • Aromatic Hydrocarbons: Toluene, Xylene.
    • Glycol Ethers: PM (Propylene glycol methyl ether), PMA (Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate). 
    Solubility Limitations 
    • Water: Insoluble.
    • Nonpolar Solvents: Limited solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons and mineral oil.
