    Usage Guidelines 
    • Recommended Use Level: Generally 0.2 to 1.5 wt%.
    • Dispersion: It is best to sprinkle the powder onto the surface of water and allow it to self-wet before stirring gently to avoid trapping air.
    • Neutralization: The polymer requires a base (such as Triethanolamine or Sodium Hydroxide) to neutralize the acidic groups and develop maximum viscosity and clarity. 
    Differences from Other Carbomers 
    • Carbomer 940 vs. 2020: While 940 provides very high viscosity and short flow (stiff gel), Carbomer 2020 provides lower viscosity before neutralization, better ease of processing, and better salt resistance.
