If you need to use a hardware RAID card (not flashed to IT mode) then the disk need to be configured in JBOD mode to allow Unraid to work with them.

The motherboard has many SAS/SATA ports but none of them work directly to SAS expander so I'm hoping this controller will work? Any ideas?
