    • Intrinsic Device Protection: The soft starter protects itself against overheating of the thyristors (over-temperature protection). 
    Operational and Safety Features 
    • Integrated Bypass Contact System: Once the motor is up to speed, the integrated bypass contactor is activated, reducing power loss and heat generation.
    • Motor Brake Function: The 3RW44 features a motor brake output, allowing for controlled, gentle stopping rather than abrupt halts that can damage machinery.
    • Torque Control: Innovative torque control ensures a smooth startup profile.
    • External Reset: Capability for remote or manual reset after a fault.
    • Communication & Monitoring: It features a display for monitoring and allows for integration with PROFINET or PROFIBUS via optional modules.
