    For vehicles with a traditional key ignition
    1. Enter programming mode:
      Insert the key into the ignition. Press and hold the "unlock" button on the driver's side door. Turn the key to the "on" position and then back to the "off" position three to six times. The door locks should cycle to indicate you have entered programming mode.
    2. Program the fob:
      Release the door's unlock button. Simultaneously press and hold both the "lock" and "unlock" buttons on the key fob for about 15 seconds, until the doors lock and unlock to confirm it has been programmed.
    3. Exit programming mode:
      Turn the key to the "on" position to exit the programming mode. Test the key fob from a distance to make sure it works.
    For vehicles with a push-button start
    1. Enter programming mode:
      Get into the vehicle and close all doors. Insert the old key fob into the ignition slot or press the "start" button without pressing the brake pedal.
    2. Program the fob:
      Press the "lock" button on the new key fob. The car should respond with a chime or a flashing light to indicate it has recognized the fob.
    3. Test the fob:
      Press the "start" button to turn the car off and remove the key. Test the key fob to lock and unlock the doors from a distance.
