    How They Work (Thermodynamic Example) 
    1. Cold condensate and air enter, pushing the disc up, and the trap discharges.
    2. Steam enters, creating pressure under the disc, forcing it down to close the valve.
    3. The trapped steam cools, condenses, pressure drops, and the cycle repeats.
