    How They Work (Rotary Shaft Seals) 
    1. The flexible rubber lip presses against the rotating shaft.
    2. The shaft's rotation creates a hydrodynamic effect, pumping a thin film of lubricant back into the seal, which lubricates the lip and shaft, reducing wear.
    3. A garter spring (if present) provides continuous tension to maintain the seal.
