This is a quality product that requires little/no maintenance.

Rule pumps are solid bilge pumps, we replaced 20 year old pumps, with like pumps, works perfectly.

Installation was a pain--no clear instructions.

I bought a cheaper bilge recently which gave me problems and only lasted a month so i decided to buy this one and it works great no issues at all.

One thing I really like about them is that the top and bottom can be separated easily.

By my math about 400,000 gallons of pumping for the life of the pump.

The access to the motor through the top makes very easy to clean or replace the motor if and when it's time to do again.

The original lowboy lasted 20 years and I hope my boat last another 20 to find out if this one Will too.
